Ok this is gonna sound like a big rant, but it is oh so true:
I have a membership to New York Sports Club. It is not that cheap. You would think that the type of people who can afford to go to the gym would be of a certain caliber.

First off, it is hot in the gym. They have the air conditioning set up where you can't feel it blowing on you. I guess that is so the some small folks who go there can't whine that they are cold! God forbid it is the summer and you FEEL a/c on you!
I am one of those people that do in fact like it cool if it is hot outside. I hate stuffy and hot.

Second, what the heck is with people's sweat and grease on every machine??!?!!!!!!!!!
I have to take a spray bottle of the disinfectant they provide and spray it on EVERY SINGLE MACHINE or else I touch and or feel or sit on some persons GREASE and SWEAT that leaves the maching shiny. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY???!!!!
Why can't you wipe your funk off?
Am I the only one who won't sit or touch someone elses body grease? It seems so because everybody uses machines and NOT ONE PERSON wipes them except me.

I am sick and tired of going to an exercise bike (i use the bike with arm rests) and seeing GREASE on the damn armrests. I have to clean before I use ANY THING. Tedious. Why can't they wipe up after themselves??!!!

These are the SAME PEOPLE who leave the machine next to me, whine when I want to get through b/c they put the machines on top of another, then they give me dirty looks ...the whole "your fat" thing. Well yeah I WOULD RATHER BE FAT THAN LEAVE GREASE AND SWEAT ALL OVER MACHINES! FOR BEING SO CARELESS WITH GREASE AND SWEAT ALL OVER EVERY THING!

So yeah, I would rather be 200 pounds and PROUD OF EVERY POUND instead of be a dirty pig. My big body does not make GREASE.

Yeah, I must say, they're a pretty hard as stones bunch that ride that train these days.
Sorry to hear that happened to you! And the 86th street stop can be pretty brutal, I know....ALWAYS crowded.
It's unfortunate that no one had compassion for you that day!
And yes, the 6 sucks!

Wireless Hub is owned by some Indians and is located on Madison and 48th street. They are some of the worse crooks I've come across. They sell phones, PDA's and accessories.
For one year I have waited for a replacement to an exchange I did with this store. I've had enough headaches with this store and hope they go out of business. Everything was a scam about the services they tried to sell me with the product I spent $700 on. I then returned the item in 4 days and they refused to give a refund but promised a replacement. They kept lying and said they would get a replacement "next month" which never happened. They owe me $700. I finally, after one year of dealing with them, reported them to reverse the charges.

I live on the dreaded 6 train line and my stop is 86th. i am injured/disabled and when coming back from a painful physical therapy,with my cane, desperately needed to sit. i went up to the priority disabled seating only to find a thin young woman sitting there.i desperately tried everything to get her to get up to no avail.i had to exit the train at the next stop because nobody would let me sit and i cannot stand with the cane and risk falling hurting myself even more.i had to walk 20 blocks home because i could not even get on a bus.i was bedridden for two days afterwards.the 6 line has the most terrible and vile humans if i can even call them that on it.you could be dying and they won't give you a seat.
